  1. Hi guys, I'm also experiencing the same glitchy characters while the ground services / preflight / etc windows are open. It seemed to be introduced from version 1.06 onwards. Weirdly, if I go to rendering settings and change my screen resolution from 'Default Monitor Settings' to anything lower e.g '1280 x 720' and then straight back to 'Default Monitor Settings' the problem disappears for the session. If you reload the aircraft or X-Plane the problem returns. OSX 10.11.3 IMAC 27 inch, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 1024 MB 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5 X-Plane version 10.45 Thanks in advance for any help.

  5. Hey Chris, project's looking great! Had a go at the junction box too. Hopefully along the lines of what you're after. (Wall and person just for scale and not part of the .obj) Junction_Box.zip
  6. Another small hut for the collection Hut.zip
  7. Aorta is great for converting PNG to DDS and vice versa: http://sourceforge.net/projects/aorta/
  8. You could also create a disk mounted image of the disc, works perfectly and very easy to do, at least on a Mac - not sure about windows.
  9. No more crashes and working perfectly now so thanks very much guys. Really appreciate your guys excellent support and amazing work. Money well spent.
  10. Hi Jeff, just discovered your blog and I have to say it's a truly great read. Particularly as i'm soon to follow a similar path here in NZ. Thanks, Henry
  11. Hi Guys. Not overly surprised but got a blank screen on Imac running OS 10.4.11 with ATI Radeon HD2400 XT chipset. Have another mac working so not a big deal just thought I'd let you know of a system that wouldn't work. Thanks
  12. Thanks guys! Very clever idea. Works even on the mighty beast that is the macbook air. (Latest and lowest spec'd one - 1.4 ghz, 2 gb ram, 256 mb vram) Got about 45-50 fps around LOWI with pretty high rendering settings and full resolution also. Is this an indication of the FPS to expect with the actual CRJ? (obviously minus the visual models impact) EDIT: sorry Cameron, getting late here obviously.
  13. Hi thanks airbus, I managed to fiddle with the rendering settings again today and somehow the FPS jumped straight back up. I think it was the anisotropic filtering that did it. Anyhow, with things back to normal I had time to appreciate the great job you did with this. Had heaps of fun so far. Oh and regarding the light switches, excuse my ignorance about the taxi lights. Its cool the model is that detailed and sorry I meant to say the dome light not the strobes. A similar sort of situation to the taxi lights? Anyway, might take her up for another flight. Thanks, HT
  14. "Should have no FPS problems" That was my thinking as well and I was wondering if anyone else was having similar problems but from what you say it must be isolated to my setup . Yes come to think of it anisotropic filtering was the only setting I didn't try at a lower setting although I've never noticed a large FPS effect with it on before. I also very rarely use anti-aliasing, if at all, because of how demanding it tends to be. And concerning the light switches - I thought the same about taxi lights not being on a 152 but the switch is definitely labeled. Anyway, I will try fiddling again tomorrow afternoon as its quite late here. Thanks for your help, really keen to get this working properly as it looks fantastic. HT
