  1. Cool! Yeah my internet sucks so bad it takes me over 1.5 hrs to download a single tile, so I'm paying someone with 20MB\a sec to download these for me lol ;D
  2. Expensive but worth it, I love flying it
  3. Works fine in 9.60, I own it.
  4. Awesome!
  5. It would be a good start
  6. It happened with REX so it's possible other companies will start working with XP as well. Thing is, I think they might be better if they used intermediates (people who are very good and know every little trick with XP). The intermediates could convert sceneries for them, and the company could pay the scenery converters
  7. Can you share where you have received this information? All other readings I have done indicate the model is purchased. I have also read that he payed a modeller to make him the body of the A380 unfortunately I don't remember where I read this :-\ I think it was on his website, I'm gonna search to try to find the info.
  8. OMG OMG OMG That Air France livery is beautiful! Thanks so much!
  9. Great shot Goran!
  10. ;D They're so good at it I think I'm gonna take that class
  11. How are the rwys in TPA? I live in SRQ but usually just fly south and never really towards TPA, I remember seeing a Beech 76 last time I took off out of KVNC Sorry, what I meant was how well maintained they are, I've only flown there as a passenger but never in a General Aviation Acf. Are you asking about the condition of the runway surfaces? We usually land 18L its the shorter of the north south runways, 8300 feet. Its your typical grooved concrete surface and its in reasonably decent condition. IIRC 18R is the longest at 10 or 11,000 feet and I think they just resurfaced it not too terribly long ago. Sorry, what I meant was how well maintained they are, I've only flown there as a passenger but never in a General Aviation Acf. Thanks

    Project 3

Like a kid on Christmas morning who just can't wait to get out of bed and open his new presents
  16. Just an FYI since it looks like you're new it's a screenshot topic of pictures of what you flew today You should upload a picture of the 767 you flew!
  17. What do you mean by versions? Where to download them I'm guessing... : Ah ok! Well in that case KATL is by imagine sim TNCM- FlyTampa Los Angeles - Cloud 9 EGGL - UK2000 or Aerosoft dunno which, they look a lot alike
  18. incredible? I tried the demo at 16 and it was awful, ESP at 2000. big coverage but. hurry up Realscenery and any other projects.. Hmm strange, I tried it and was rather amazed Yesterday I tried some of the spanish scenery also to be found there, and it depends wich tiles you loaded. There is no color correction etc. done to the images, so while some areas really looked good, others were very pale or showed wrong colors. The resolution itself is obviously a compromise between the facts of size and qualitiy. Not bad a at all I would say, if you want to install it all. You can do better with tools like Gmaps though if you take the time and effort and create small areas only. So I think I'll come back to the site when there is a region I am going to fly often - it might be worth to have a look at their photo scenery. Yeah I mean, it's freeware and you download and bam it's there. I love G2XPL as it's useful, but it can be a big pain to set up and use for big sceneries.
  19. What do you mean by versions?
  20. 1st one is KATL - Atlanta Intl 2nd one is TNCM- St Marteen I don't know 3rd one 4th one is KLAX - Los Angeles 5th one is EGGL - Heathrow and I don't know what the 6th one is

  22. If you want to release it, make sure that you have authorization from the original authors in a txt file included with the plane
  23. The work is extremely tough, but basically heres how, you convert the .mdl model from FSX to an AC3D file with modelconverterx. You then import the model into Blender (download blender) you also need to download Marginals Blender2XPlane scripts, you then export the model to XPlane. Keep in mind you have to re texture, re animate, and re work on the whole plane as only the body of the plane is converted no textures animations or programming are.
  24. Nice! Merci vous aussi! (I'm French and saw you could write in French on the X-Plane.fr)
  25. So a few weeks ago I was browsing the French XP site and found this : http://zonephoto.x-plane.fr/ It features photo scenery for the whole of France at either 15 or 16 zoom, it also includes Switzerland and Belgium! I have personally tried these photo scenes and they are incredible, I've been flying over my houses in France in the 152 and Falco for hours! 8)
