  1. Posting in the wrong forum happens to everyone Gizmo is a plugin for certain add-ons. You don't have to install it. I don't exactly know what your problem could be. Since you are using the 1.4.5 version and 32 bit everything should be fine. Did the problem occur in the 32 or 64bit version of X Plane? In 64bit the Crj 1.4.5 doesn't work. Could you attach your log file please?
  2. First of all wrong forum You should post this in CRJ200 Support, not under "File submissions" Now to the problem. Are you using 32 or 64 bit. And which version is the CRJ? Which other plugins are you using? Do you have Gizmo installed?
  3. Thanks a lot!!!! Finally someone who makes a good description
  4. Hello. I have converted a airport for X Plane. The tower does't have any textures. I tried to add textures with AC3D but they are not displayed in X Plane. I first coloured the tower in plain yellow and exported the object. When i load the airport the texture is still plain grey. Does anyone have experience with texturing X Plane objects? Thanks, SwissCyul
  5. I'm starting a new threat with another problem, this here is solved i think
  6. Found the reason. There are simply no textures for those objects. the author coloured them in and so they need no textures. The stupid thing is only that those colours are not converted to X Plane
  7. SEXAY!!!!
  8. Yep. Well thanks for your try
  9. Thats what i did. And the texture for the terminal is not in the report. Only tons of not found objects. Report is attached
  10. Well, thats my problem that the textures have other names then the objects, so i can't find them. Or another thing is that there is for example a DHC-3 included in the scenery. The texture for that is in an extra folder. So when i convert that it says "Couldn't find texture for DHC-3". I tried moving the .bmp files out of the extra folder and put them into the normal texture folder. But still no luck. It's a really stupid problem.
  11. Ok. But where should i search for those textures??
  12. Good luck on the scenery editing
  13. Hello once again and a happy olympic sunday to everyone I converted Iqaluit airport from FS9 to X Plane with FS2X-Plane. After the conversion all the objects are there but only half of them has a texture. The other half is just plain white. Why??? I tried to figure out the corresponding texture files for the objects but i had no luck. You can see in the attached pictures that this is only the problem with some of the buildings. And they have signs on them and they are textured. Is there any way to give those objects textures?? Thanks, SwissCyul (Sadly no medals for Switzerland yet )
  14. Thats illegal. Because you have to buy the scenery And i am not allowed to share pay-ware
  15. Ok. I don't have that much advise for you Depending on your computer, you shouldn't add that much aircraft because Montreal Downtown eats up your FPS. I guess you converted the FS9 version? If so you won't have the back part of the airport. I got some Error messages when i opened it because things were missing. These missing objects are converted in the FSX version. I added them with OE so the object error message goes away. Thats basically it for the conversion. You can add light posts to the airport, because the Included lights don't make any reflections on the ground. I hope that helps. I send you a message for the apt.data
  16. Sure, do you have the ortho-photos in the scenery? If yes then i will send you the plain data, because the taxiway markings are on the orthos. I also have a version without the orthos. Just tell me which one you want
  17. I put the description on how you convert it in the post above. The FS9 scenery converts better then the FSX version. The FS9 conversion has mostly all of the objects and the ortho-photos. Thats why it's better to convert that version. You just have to edit a bit with WED and OE to remove missing textures or move the runway around, because the coordinates are not the same in FS9 and X-Plane. I hope it helps a bit
  18. That is not correct my friend I have done many conversions from FlyTampa Scenery and i use a MacBook Pro. And FS2X-Plane does work on a mac You have to create a new folder named FS9 or FSX and put a random file in it and rename it to "FSX.exe". And then the machine recognizes that file as an actual FSX system file. Now you just have to locate that file for your conversions. That is the same thing for the FlyTampa installation. You just choose the "Fake" FSX file and install the scenery in there.
  19. No problem
  20. You won't have that shuttle on there if you're just loading this airplane like that. You have to go to "Aircraft and Situations" and select "Piggy back Shuttle" And then you will have the shuttle on the plane
  21. Oh guys. Why don't you just leave everybody like he is. Everyone can buy the product he wants, or not. I am personally excited for an old style 737-200 because i see them everyday in Montreal. So please excuse me but i am excited to see it realized. And if you don't agree with that it's fine for me, but please make a RANT out of this or just start another Post with the title "Why should we buy 2 737 that are not the same". I began this post for those who are interested in the 737-200. And not for people to trash the unfinished project and say that the IXEG 737 will be better. Of course it will have more in depth systems, but i enjoy to fly aircraft that are easy to get into and just look good. So please stay calm and just wait until both products are released(or not)... SwissCyul
  22. Kind of true. But when you want an aircraft thats just fun to fly around and looks nice with no extensive manual reading, then even FJS and FF are ok. I still agree with you on that
  23. It's CRJ time again!!!! From Montreal to Quebec City in the evening
  24. We will just see what the future brings. And you can never have enough aircraft to choose from
  25. Yeah, everybody is going crazy making 737's
