  1. This is awesome!!!! I can't wait!!!!!! Finally someone who makes this jet http://flyjsim.ipbhost.com/index.php?/topic/474-732-twinjet/
  2. "Dear passengers we ran into quicksand on landing and the plane is stuck. You all have to exit through the cockpit emergency hatch and try not to fall into the sand" This is what happened: http://aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20070520-0
  3. That was my amazing day as an Air Canada pilot flying the Q400
  4. Ok so you have the same flap settings and the same speed as i have. That landing technique is a little weird in the beginning, but with practise you get used to it. Just fly the final like your wanting to hit the runway with the nose first
  5. That was due to the wind. I was at about 145kts and the gusts were so strong that the speed jumped around really wildly. I don't find it that hard to land. What weight and how much flaps do you use? I have most of the time medium weight and flaps full for landing. And my landings are really smooth(Ok, maybe my real pilot experiences are part of that too… )
  6. I tried to do them and they don't look very good, Sorry
  7. Once again on the FJS Dash8-Q400. This time from Quebec city to Mont Tremblant in wintery and windy weather. Not much vision during the approach
  8. I also tried it with the FJS Dash-Q400 and i can not report any problems.
  9. What airplane? What weather? Which speed? Which autopilot mode engaged?
  10. Or did you even set the thrust limit? If not the engines will overheat.
  11. Sounds like a lot of fun I hope it will be released soon!!!
  12. No Problem
  13. Ok, thanks. I will give it a try on the weekend and tell you if it looks ok
  14. How about you tell us first what aircraft you want them for, instead of just giving us the paint kits
  15. Post your log.txt please
  16. That sounds like some serious Problems I have no idea what that could be. Well, good luck with that.
  17. I'm glad to hear that No problem
  18. Well, you should probably update your NAVDATA on the CRJ200. Or use an older cycle for flight planning The pitch problem is known and there are solutions to it on this website(delete your preferences, output flight model higher number…) The CRJ doesn't have Autothrottle, and you have probably a wrong autopilot setting that causes the plane to follow FMS. Have fun flying
  19. First you need the newest version of the PushbackPlugin: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?s=da0e6442574a15b33fd08c27dddb51e9&app=downloads&showfile=14790 Then the newest version of the python script: http://www.xpluginsdk.org/python_interface_latest_downloads.htm And the correct python interface for your system(so Mac) that has the same number as the python script(so PythoninterfaceMac27.zip): http://www.xpluginsdk.org/python_interface_older_downloads.htm And a documentation how to install everything: http://www.xpluginsdk.org/python_interface_downloads.htm If it doesn't work, contact me
  20. Saving the situation never works on complex aircraft and not always on easy aircraft. It's kind of glitchy and doesn't save everything. If you still want to continue on the same flight and don't mind to completely close X-Plane, this is your answer: Windows: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=16764 Mac: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=18508 It's a tool that reduces CPU load to zero, so your computer doesn't have to work when you pause X-Plane. I hope that helps
  21. Then your installation is probably wrong. To solve the problem you should delete the whole python installation and redo it. It didn't work for me either the first time. But I followed the procedure again and it works. So please read the manuals for python and it should work
  22. Same route as yesterday(CYOW-CYUL), but now with crosswinds and better weather. Flight time 48 minutes.
  23. Ok, that doesn't help me Are you using 64bit or 32bit? Which plugin are you using?
  24. Hey. I converted FlyTampa Montreal for X Plane a while ago(some might remember). Now i also converted the FS2004 version for the orthophotos. Everything is fine except one spot. You can a view a blue spot on the ground from different angles and that is really annoying. I already searched in WED and OE but didn't find anything that is there on this spot. Please see pictures attached. Does anyone know what that is?? Thanks, SwissCyul
  25. Porter Dash8-Q400 from Ottawa to Montreal.
