  1. OK...tests with XA regarding distribution and DRM done successfully. I have to say, this system is fantastic without being obtrusive. Kudos to Cam and BenR for providing a professional installation and management experience.....I mean, just keep your XA user and pass handy and you should have no issues; HOWEVER, that being said, I think this is the first 64-bit gizmo product to be distributed and though we have endeavored to cover as much as possible based on past experiences, this will be a new "trial" on a mass scale. This MU2 1.5 update will be for V10 only and 64-bit only. The "x-plane consortium", consisting of laminar and lots of devs all agree that 64-bit is the focus and future and we need to leave 32-bit behind...that's just the way of computer technology. My computer is old and ratty and 64 bit works great for me. So....this SHOULD be out during the weekend (assuming no "non-flight sim" related life surprises or emergency reshuffling of priorities). This is not a promise but rather an 'educated estimate' based on my years of troubleshooting and knowing when and what causes delays and issues, at least when close enough to see the finish line (far away estimates are always cloudy). I have tested the MU2 rather thorougly and its performing very reliably on my machine, but my machine isn't your machine so we'll see how it goes. So what is happening now is I am going over the what's new docs, preparing a impromptu video showing the new features and basically cleaning up the package, dumping old legacy files. I am NOT working on the code or flight modeling...that is all done to my satisfaction and now the DRM and activation tests are complete also. This MU2 is head and shoulders above the "old experience" and sadly, the last free major update of the version 1 run. (minor bug fixes will still be performed if needed) Tom K

  2. Boeing 747 traffic at TNCA. Still waiting for additional airliners but it looks promising. The developer is finalizing a random traffic generator for World Traffic.

  4. I see your point; however, the software world is a bit more fluid than that and I've been rolling with it for 35 years. But I tell you what...I will honor your feelings this weekend! the "update" (so called) will be free for all other existing customers, but you can pay 24.95 for it (it will be on sale ) and call it a "verion 2.0" and opt not to buy it if you think I'm such a dishonorable vendor..but since it's vaporware anyhow, its not like it was going to be real for you anyway. I know by putting in a little bit more I made V10 necessary, but my comprehensive market research shows that generally more is better and so I just did it. Some people get it, some don't. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnA3C9Af_oc TK

  5. Back to the topic... Brought out my AS350 for a nice flight over EDLK. Scenery is amazing, freeware by ksgy. You can grab Egelsberg Feild here: http://x-plane.hu/edlk/ Rolling her out of the hanger, onto the grassy strip (underlays are BEAUTIFUL). Click the images for full size! Took off and made a nice loop around the feild. Farmland and forests as far as the eye can see. Spotted the helipad. I'll stop at the cafe' when I'm down. ...Flare! Overall I would rate this small airfeild 5/5. Amazing underlays and neat objects. Will definitely make more stops at Egelsberg!

  6. Well.. as said, I received 2 more emails from this guy that menaced telling everyone in "all simulations forums" how bad is the product etc etc... I don't like the people that starts to flood emails or forums just because they are unsatisphiced with a product. Sent several emails complaining is not going to make a better reply from me. A simple email always has a reply.. and a solution after a time.. as it is demostrated the hydroulic issue is solved... but that was an issue that was not important to fly the plane. What I tried to say to this person is that he could continue flying with it don't waiting for the fix of it... but of course the fix would come. I think I had to say that last thing more clearly. Of course I didn't reply him after the 2 email menaces he made. It is not good to put in line what I said to him privatelly... but put all information. as said.. an smile do more than a menace.
