stayup Posted May 3, 2016 Report Posted May 3, 2016 With the 1.02 update i'm no longer getting the radio altimeter call outs when landing. Is there some way to correct this? Thanks Quote
Tchou Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 same with me. didn't fly with versions prior to that, so I never had it, also Ground avoidance systems doesn't work, but I guess it's a "yet". Quote
Litjan Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 Hmm, we are getting some reports on this - but most people can hear them fine... We don´t know why that is, yet. Can you please remove (temporarily) all other plugins except for gizmo - then restart X-Plane. You have to physically move them from the plugins folder, just clicking "disable" won´t be enough. Thanks, Jan Quote
stayup Posted May 4, 2016 Author Report Posted May 4, 2016 (edited) Took out all the plugins, as you suggested, and my call outs and sound came back....so the problem relates to a plugin incompatibility. Should I start putting the plugins back one at a time to find the offender? Thanks, Irv Edited May 4, 2016 by stayup Quote
Tchou Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 i found mine : Ground Handling from JAR design wich comes with his A330, I got back the mach test clicker, the GPWS messages (at least the tests ones) the altitude messages and it seems the sound mixing is much better. (It might be that some sounds missing are back also) Quote
Rodeo Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 I believe (don't quote me on that though) ChevyRules727 had a similar sound-related issue with Ground Handling and one of the FlyJSim Boeings a while back… Quote

With Ground Handling you only got the "Minimums" callout and nothing else. Without GH, everything's fine. Quote
