Or i missed it, but do i just hit APP at the transition for the RNAV? and then its good? That would work with the NG but doesn't seem to work on the classic, the procedure must be different. I tried that but didn't work so I had to perform a visual app. I'm uploading a video, should be up tommorow morning Quote
Hotdawg Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 RNAV approachs are flown in LNAV, usually LNAV and VNAV depending on the company procedures it could be LNAV and VS. Quote
poodster Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Just like what hotdawg said. Use the approach chart to get a better idea on the approach 1 Quote
Saul500NE Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Use LNAV/VNAV mode until MDA, after that it's show time. Quote

sanjiv Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 (edited) RNAV Approaches can be flown as long as the accuracy is less than RNP of 1.0 0.3 (1.0 for Missed App and 0.3 on finals), which in case of X-Plane always is. So making sure that the altitude/speed constraints are correctly programmed into the FMC should be sufficient to perform an RNAV approach. Edited April 25, 2016 by sanjiv Incorrect RNP value Quote
TDPlane Posted April 25, 2016 Report Posted April 25, 2016 The IXEG 737 is buggy ... On almost every flight I lose LNAV and/or VNAV. Even HDG and V/S don't work anymore. So RNAV is out ... Quote

I don't have xpuipc, so i can't help you unfortunately Quote
