My Sundowner

Here are some pics of my Sundowner.  I'm attaching a picture of the real world Sundowner that I based my repaint on.  I love this plane.

Sure would love a paint kit with the layered files so I could do a better job with the painting.

Seriously?  Now that's a real compliment!  The last photograph is the real world Sundowner.  All the airborne pics are the Leading Edge Sundowner.

Thank you for putting those up.  Out of all the photos I have of the Sundowner, I don't have a 3/4 photo to show the aircraft in perspective and compare it to the aircraft in the sim.

The update is very close to finished.

I'll be looking for more screenshots should you put them up.

I've got tons of screenshots of the Sundowner.  You could say I'm a bit obsessive about taking screenshots.  I'll do some more editing and get some more posted.  I really do love this plane and I'm excited to get the update.  I've never had more fun flying a GA plane than this one.  Can't wait to get my hands on your new stuff, too! Thank you for all the work you put into your aircraft!

The fuselage has been completely remodeled.  So with that being said, the psd files for the exterior of the Sundowner that's currently available will be obsolete once the update is out.  Theo is working on getting one ready very soon after the update is out.

Everything is done now but for the panel regions, 2 more textures and manipulators

Hey Steve,

   First post on X-Plane - never used the software...

   Great pictures - I didn't realize X-Plane could look so good !!! I love the dirt in the rocker switches as I spend a great deal of time cleaning them...

   The Sundowner and now Duchess certainly dragged me over to this side of the fence - as I've got an 82 Sundower... How does she fly from a pilots perspective ???

Thanks for the compliment, Scott.  She flies pretty true to life.  I think they've done a great job with the flight characteristics.  You'd be better judge than I since you actually fly one.  All I can say is that she's worth the investment! And fun to fly!
