FrancoX Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 Hi, I recently purchased skymaxx pro v2.1 (I think). I ran the installer and up to there it was all good. But now I launch xplane and the activation window does not pop up. And of course no clouds are in the sky. I wanted to know if this happens, or happened, to anyone else, and if anyone can help me. THANK YOU PEOPLE
Goran_M Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) Please post your Log.txt (found in your root x plane folder.) Edited October 10, 2015 by Goran_M
Jim Kallinen Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 What screen res are you running X-Plane ? And what screen res do you run your desktop. If you have up-scaled windows desktop more then 100% the installer will not view the sign in page.Learned this trick years ago with all of these installers. Took forever to figure it out. In order to get the installer to show your sign in installer box, reduce your desktop screen res to 100%.Then try again.
FrancoX Posted October 10, 2015 Author Report Posted October 10, 2015 (edited) the resolutions are as you said. i could run perfectly the installer, no issue with that. the problem is when I launch xplane, that the activation window of skymaxx pro does not appear. Edited October 10, 2015 by FrancoX
Goran_M Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 I looked at your Log.txt file and could only find 1 mention of Gizmo. "D:\Program Files (x86)/X-Plane/Resources/plugins/Gizmo64.plugin/64/win.xpl : Error Code = 127 : No se encontró el proceso especificado." or... "The specified process is not found" Gizmo is not installed.Have you removed Gizmo? If you have, Then Skymaxx will not run.
FrancoX Posted October 10, 2015 Author Report Posted October 10, 2015 I have not. i reinstalled gizmo and run x plane again and as i checked the log.txt im still getting the same error. i checked the plugins folder, gizmo64.plugin/64 and the win.xpl is right there. what can i do?
Cameron Posted October 10, 2015 Report Posted October 10, 2015 You need to install VS 2012 redistributable libs update 4 from Microsoft.
