baudrate43 Posted June 21, 2015 Report Posted June 21, 2015 I down loaded the Saab update, went very smooth. Fired up x-Plane and it loaded as normal but got a Console window. See attachment LES_Saab_340A_2.I added another screen shot with some plug-in info, see SaabA Update Issue. When in x-Plane I can't get any reaction from anything except the Yoke and Pedals. Also the tool tray bar is missing some of the icons that use to be there. I notice the aircraft doors and cockpit hatch are open, is this normal for the update? Thanks in advance, Bill Hayden from Michigan My System Specification 06-21-2015.rtfSaab 340A Update Issue.tiff Quote
Cameron Posted June 22, 2015 Report Posted June 22, 2015 These images are entirely unreadable. Please attach the GizmoLog.txt and the log.txt files in your X-Plane folder. Quote
baudrate43 Posted June 22, 2015 Author Report Posted June 22, 2015 Hi Cameron Here are the logs. I've changed the extensions on the two screen shots I sent earlier, hopefully it will work this time. One of the files didn't upload, maybe the other did. Once again thanks for looking at this... Bill from MichiganGizmoLog copy.txtLog copy.txt Quote
JGregory Posted June 22, 2015 Report Posted June 22, 2015 You have the wrong (old) scripts installed. Suggest you do a re-install. If you don't know how to do this, Cameron can help out. Quote
Cameron Posted June 22, 2015 Report Posted June 22, 2015 Bill, Not sure what's going on there, but here's what I suggest you do (in this order): 1. Delete the following folder: X-Plane/Aircraft/X-Aviation/Saab 340A 2. Delete the following file (if it exists) X-Plane/X-Aviation/Uninstall Saab 340A <==== Note the folder path!! It's not the same as in step 1 3. Re-download the Saab 1.2 installer from X-Aviation under your account 4. Re-run the installer as a first time install Hope this gets you up and running! Quote

Re-run the installer as a first time install Hi again, In my "X-Plane 10" folder, on my desk top, their is a "X-Aviation" folder. In that folder their is a "Saab 340A" folder and (3) icon's, "Uninstall SkyMaxx Pro", "Uninstall Saab 340A" and "Uninstall Maxx FX" Also, in my "X-Plane 10" folder, on my desk top, their of course is the "Aircraft" folder and it has a "X-Aviation" folder. In this folder their is a "Saab 340A" folder and in that folder their are (3) folder's, "Cargo Variant", "Manuals" and "Passenger Variant". Their is also a "S340A Livery Manager" icon. Before I continue with your step #3 I thought I would send this info for your comment. Thanks, Bill Hayden Quote
Cameron Posted June 23, 2015 Report Posted June 23, 2015 Holy cow, Bill. Every one of your products is not even installed on your machine correctly. You just have stuff installed to random locations that aren't even doing anything inside of X-Plane for you. Go ahead and run all of those uninstallers before you do anything. Apparently you selected your Desktop folder as your X-Plane folder. Big no-no. You need to select your X-Plane folder when you choose the install location in the installer! Quote
baudrate43 Posted June 23, 2015 Author Report Posted June 23, 2015 Crap I'll get back to you... Thanks Quote
