niebieski Posted January 19, 2015 Report Posted January 19, 2015 One thing people often forget about is the resolution of your display. What's the resolution you run X-Plane at? Quote
Jakob Ludwig Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 From other users at the Aerosoft forums, the 970 (brand MSI) has been reported to cause stutters, even with the latest drivers. This hits Systems running Windows 7.

Just to be aware of. Quote
Patrick G. Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 Asus 970 strix runs perfectly for me and a friend of mine. We are using win 8.1 with latest driver and 4790k cpu. The cpu must be strong enough for a 9xx gfx fard.
Quote

chris k Posted January 20, 2015 Report Posted January 20, 2015 I have an i5 2500k and a GTX770. Which is an idea machine for testing user expectations, BTW. I'd expect the majority of your customer base will be using something like this (or better)... If it works well on your system, then it's good to go. My "Lowest common denominator" is an i7-9xx series (1st gen) and a GTX670. If I can make it work smoothly and fluidly on that old beast -- Then most likely the average end-user will have a good experience. - Ck. - CK. Quote
