Ironmaiden Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 when is it gonna be released ? Quote
poppet Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 Here's a question from a thicko from Ireland. Is this a scenery pack or just weather textures? Yes I get the winter, autom spring and summer thing but what I'm asking is, Is this a base like scenery pack with weather textures? Like Global Ortx? Or something completely different. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this question. Quote

SwissCyul Posted October 28, 2014 Report Posted October 28, 2014 The textures of this Russian fall and winter are amazing!! The only downside of it is that you have to switch it "by hand" I will still buy Seasons XP though if it comes out Quote
scotchegg Posted October 28, 2014 Author Report Posted October 28, 2014 Yeah, if you can get automatic season changes I'd pay for textures. Crank up your marketing machine John lad! Quote
chrishammons Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 I'm watching for this to finish .. can hardly wait. I would consider buying an "early release" with promise of updates. Quote

JohnMAXX Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) Well I'm going to have to step up my game here.....Really happy there is competition to help bring focus to my seasons.... Edited October 29, 2014 by JohnMAXX Quote
chrishammons Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Of course you must know about Simple Season and it's method for switching seasons... (textures not incl?) The Russian Winter looks really good but I'm not ready to try. Maybe by time I'm ready John will have some updates. Quote

azpilot Posted November 5, 2014 Report Posted November 5, 2014 The Russian textures do look very nice, but I don't want to have to change them manually every time I want to switch. I'm going to wait for John's product.... 1 Quote
CaptCWGAllen Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 (edited) Me too - the support on Sky Maxx has been awesome so want to support John and Frank as much as possible. Edited November 6, 2014 by CaptCWGAllen 1 Quote
scotchegg Posted November 28, 2014 Author Report Posted November 28, 2014 Any movement on this John? The Russian textures are an interesting stopgap but they lack variety (particularly noticeable in Autumn) and I'm sure you have something better up your sleeve. Quote

ianrivaldosmith Posted December 3, 2014 Report Posted December 3, 2014 Too much of a headache to use. I would love someone to release a payware package that has a simple installer and menu system plugin.... Quote
scotchegg Posted December 4, 2014 Author Report Posted December 4, 2014 Too much of a headache to use. I would love someone to release a payware package that has a simple installer and menu system plugin....Yep, one with more than just two seasons and changed automatically according to real world conditions. And didn't need so much installation fuss. Not to say that all of this sudden interest in seasons is unwelcome... Quote
