Kamen Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 also I cant get replays on the default aircraft help!? Quote
mmerelles Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 Can you please describe a bit more your procedure for loading replays? what xp version? It works just fine to me:1. Go to menu->file->save replay (put a name and save)2. Go to menu->file->load replay (pick the one you just saved from the listing) note: as long as i understand, starting xp 10.30 you can not load a replay if you do not save it first Quote
Kamen Posted June 24, 2014 Author Report Posted June 24, 2014 Sorry I was in a rush, I run x-plane 10.30 i'll try it now Quote
Kamen Posted June 25, 2014 Author Report Posted June 25, 2014 nope still doesn't work any other ideas It says "This aircraft could not be loaded its a missing airplane file or not even an airplane file I'll open the default aircraft so you can still fly" this also happens to default aircraft I've run the updater but it still does the same. mmerelles Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 can you post your log file after those errors are displayed? maybe there is any clue in there! It should be in your main xplane folder i doesn´t seems like a replay issue, but a messed up installation or permissions issue. Quote
Kamen Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 ok i'll get on it when I finish school Quote
Kamen Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) sorry its not letting me copy and paste log file Edited June 26, 2014 by Kamen Quote
Kamen Posted June 26, 2014 Author Report Posted June 26, 2014 i'll enter it manually the errors that have come up"Could not find title 52 name is lu^""could not find title 47 name is open-frame""could not find title 54 name is ^ru" (in sign '[@L]H[^lu]D[ru]H 'from airport LIRF)Syntax error - unknown glyph at [@y{^1}A{^r}I{^u}YSyntax error-unknown glyph atSyntax error-unknown glyph atSyntax error-unknown glyph atSyntax error unknown glyph at(The other 4 errors are just a repeat of the top error) Quote
JGregory Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Those errors are related to scenery and should not be causing the problem you are experiencing. You NEED to "attach" the ENTIRE Log.txt file in this thread and maybe then we can see what is going on. Quote
Kamen Posted June 27, 2014 Author Report Posted June 27, 2014 i'll try to later but I tried yesterday and it wouldn't let me copy Quote
WombatBoy Posted June 27, 2014 Report Posted June 27, 2014 Don't copy/paste from the file, just attach the whole thing like you would to an email like Jim said. Quote
mmerelles Posted June 28, 2014 Report Posted June 28, 2014 I am running xp 10.30b5. I just tried to load an old replay that was made while i was running xp 10.25 and my system crashed to desktop showing up the warning you described (corrupted plane file or missing, i will open default plane) question: are you trying to load older replays? have you tried to save a new replay and then load it on the same version? i have no issues saving and loading replays made on the same version (while i was on 10.25 and now on 10.30), but i do realized that i am not able to load older replays. Not sure if it is a bug or an expected behavior due to the new versions not having back guards compatibility. Quote
Kamen Posted June 28, 2014 Author Report Posted June 28, 2014 No I have this as soon as I have finished a flight and click replay it comes up with them errors I think it does the same with the old replays Quote
AngeloM Posted June 30, 2014 Report Posted June 30, 2014 Sorry but I don't find your log.txt, was you able to attach it? Quote
mmerelles Posted June 30, 2014 Report Posted June 30, 2014 I have just received a replay from LR stating that 10.30 and 10.25 replays are different formats, there is no backward compatibility. Quote
Kamen Posted July 1, 2014 Author Report Posted July 1, 2014 I tried to attach but it must of not worked Quote
