Hi, guys!

I got a couple of questions regarding the Saab 340A. I looked at the manual but I still don't understand how the CTOT works. I turn on the 2 CTOT switches and turn the CTOT rotary to 110% before takeoff, right, another question, I saw the refuel annunciation light on the overhead panel, how can I get it to light? Thanks!

Cheers,

Vincent

You're not operating the CTOT correctly.  You need to set the dial FIRST, and then when you're ready to take off, you engage the system by turning the switches on.  Then move the power levers to the 64° position (I think that's what the figure is.  It's been a while).  That's when CTOT will increase power to the desired torque that you preset on the dial.

There is no custom refueling option on the Saab.  You refuel it using X-Planes default fuel and payload manager.  For that reason, the annunciator will not light up.

Hi, Goran!

The custom refueling option is the feature request for the future update of the Saab 340A. For the CTOT to work it is 64 degrees, I saw that in the manual. Approximately where is 64 degrees on the throttle quadrant? Thanks! I'm learning a lot on this!!!

Hi, guys!

I see something in the Saab 340A cockpit that is interesting. Those 2 things, one above the standby artificial horizon and the other one above the annunciation panel, what are those things used for? Please see attached. Thanks!

Cheers,

Vincent
