Hello,

I run into an issue that the plane uses a fuel only from the left tank (even if X-Feed is off). When I wanted to crossfeed from right to left, I opened the X-Feed switch and moved the R Sby Pump to override. But the fuel was flowing from left to right tank, exact the opposite way it should. When I shut the X-Feed down, the fuel still flew from left to right until the left tank was empty.

I added the fuel in the game menu, but even if the both X-Feed and pump switches are off, the fuel is still flowing. It takes approx 10 seconds to transfer 50 kg of fuel from the left tank to the right.

Does somebody know how to deal with this issue, please?

XFEED, the upper one.

Now I've read the X-Plane's Log.txt, but I see nothing suspicious there. Should I post it - do you think that it would help you? (software developers always like logs, me included :-) )

BTW thank you for fast answer!

I have found the problem in the cross feed logic.  This has been fixed and will be in the next update.

I did not find any problems with normal fuel flow with the engines running.  The engines are feeding from the proper tanks.

Hi, guys!

I'm having the same fuel x-feed problem like what eMko is having! Thanks!

Cheers,

Vincent

Vinny,

I'm wondering why you thought this post was necessary?  I had already acknowledged the issue and fixed it.  You telling us that you have the same problem does not contribute in any way.

Hi, JGregory!

Sorry about the confusion. Please forgive me. I meant to say is the strange fuel x-feed is fixed in Saab 340A v1.1? Thanks!

Cheers,

Vincent

Vinny,

How can you say that when you said this… "I'm having the same fuel x-feed problem like what eMko is having! Thanks!",  that you really meant this…"I meant to say is the strange fuel x-feed is fixed in Saab 340A v1.1?"  These two sentences are not even remotely the same!  Please be sure to read the entire thread before you post anything and make sure that what you post is relevant.

In addition, you are apparently still confused.  The x-feed issue was discovered and fixed AFTER the v1.1 update was already out.  It will be part of the NEXT update.

Hi, JGregory!

I understand about the fuel x-feed problem now! Even though I used this forum for a long time now, sometimes it is hard for me to tell if the post is relevant or not. Thanks!

Cheers,

Vincent

With all due respect to Jim, I need to say that. :)

Jim, if you say it has been fixed , SOME users automatically think that it was fixed before the recent available update, that is why Vinny asked.

I know , I know , you said it will be fixed in the next update also.

Many of us are not English speakers here, you know that.

I am not trying to drag the subject longer just wanted you to see the other opinion on that. :D

It is all good anyway.

Thank you for great aircraft.

Cheers, AJ ;)

AJ,

While I appreciate your input you are missing the point regarding Vinny.  He seems to need to post things that are simply irrelevant or are a rehash of what has already been said.  We (developers) need to monitor the forums for REAL problems, which takes time. Someone who posts just for the sake of posting, repeats already posted problems (after the issue has been solved), posts something that is completely irrelevant, or posts something that makes no sense whatsoever (see Vinny's post (#9) above) is a waste of our time.  We try to be tolerant of language barriers, etc.  Non-English speakers also need to be tolerant and try their best to post in a coherent manner. Repeat offenses tells me the poster is NOT trying hard enough and not listening very well. I  don't think the issue with Vinny is one of not speaking English, but rather something else entirely.

Jim,

Maybe my reply was too fast because I did not take time and read the whole thread carefully. Sorry about that.

I know exactly what you mean.

Everybody's time is important but developers need to deal with replies to ALL customers which makes the task quite intense.

I truly appreciate and value the fact that we can have conversation with the developers here and I will try to read more before replying, it was my "first impulse" response after reading your reply. My bad. :)

Cheers, AJ ;)
