Rhinozherous Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Hey Guys!Awesome Plane, I love it But now i will do my second flight (on first one where all things ok)I have exactly followed the checklist at the start of airplane, now I want to taxi, but the plane does not move. I've used the search function and found some in the forum, but nothing has helped. The parking brake is COMPLETE out, and Condition Levers at MAX, gears chocks pins are away. Here are Sreenshots from the complete Cockpit: And if it helps, the LogLog.txt Thanks and Greets! Edited January 4, 2014 by Rhinozherous Quote
arb65912 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) I do not know if that would help the case but seems like you have Inverter OFF. Cheers, AJ P.S. Also make sure you have generators reset. Edited January 4, 2014 by arb65912 Quote
JGregory Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 The first and third pictures show the throttles at idle… silly question, but.. you are advancing the throttles, right? If so, does the prop rpm increase? Quote
Rhinozherous Posted January 4, 2014 Author Report Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) First, thanks for all replies!I had advanced the throttles for a try, below the red line, with no success. But i'm not sure if the rpm had increase...And i will try it again with Inverter on when flying again, but this was no problem on my first flight, where I have also forgotten the inverter switch :-)Greets! Rhinozherous Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) No Success I have Re-Installed the Plane, erased the Preferences, do all things from Checklist, search in the Manual, Inverter on, Gen reset, advancing throttles... but Plane don't move. I have no Idea whats wrong. Bug? Edited January 5, 2014 by Rhinozherous Quote
arb65912 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Before you do the startup procedure, do you have Power Lever in proper position? I do not think it is a bug, many users would report it. Quote
ec-swr Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) start in runway and not in the parking Edited January 5, 2014 by ec-swr Quote
Rhinozherous Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 I know that it's not a bug, but I am at my wits end... Power Levers are in the Ground Idle Position, according to checklist. Sorry, but starting on Runway is not a solution for me. Quote
arb65912 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 I am so sorry to hear that, I know the feeling , this is such a great plane. I can only hope that Developers will help you. Cheers, AJ Quote
ointment Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Try hitting the 'V' key to release the parking brake. Quote
JGregory Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Are you starting on grass? If so, try starting on a paved surface. The Saab is NOT meant for grass fields. Edited January 5, 2014 by JGregory Quote
arb65912 Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 AND make sure that handle is in down position, I know it is obvious but you know .... Quote
ec-swr Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Sorry, but starting on Runway is not a solution for me. Are you starting on grass? If so, try starting on a paved surface. The Saab is NOT meant for grass fields. probably is the issue ...the solution is tested from the runway .. will not? is your problem Quote
Rhinozherous Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 Please do not get it wrong, I meant that this is not a permanent solution for me. I'm not starting on grass. On picture 5 you can see it on an taxiway where Taxi is no problem with other airplanes. Quote
ec-swr Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 you tested at another airport? x plane is not without bugs Quote
JGregory Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 Are you using any hardware, ie. joystick, pedals, etc. ? Quote
Rhinozherous Posted January 5, 2014 Author Report Posted January 5, 2014 Yes, another airport, different gates, same Problem.I use saitek pro flight yoke with throttle quadrant.By the way, thanks to all for guessing with me :-) Quote
ec-swr Posted January 5, 2014 Report Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) recording a video and we will see what happens Edited January 5, 2014 by ec-swr Quote
