Steve Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 Hi, video of new Boeing 757 (designed by FlightFactor (Philipp and Ramzzess) and produced by VMAX). Sorry for mistakes. I hope you like 1 Quote
Hobelflieger Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 Very nice video !!! Thank you. Quote
FloB Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 What happened to the main gear during taxi? It looks all right until you lined up at the runway. Then it's twisted during takeoff - looks stupid. Interesting airplane anyway. But I won't go for airliners as long as high altitude visibility and ATC is like it is. Flo 2 Quote

Toby Rice Posted November 8, 2013 Report Posted November 8, 2013 Bummer that it's for v10 and not v9. Good news is that nothings stopping me from v10! Quote
Steve Posted November 9, 2013 Author Report Posted November 9, 2013 Thanks to all for feedback!! yeah, I don't know what happens with landing gear after pushback but in general its a great aircraft as Toby said for the moment (I think so) only for XP10 x64... Quote

Flome too, i'm waiting for skymaxxx to release and then i'm coming back to xp10. I haven't touched xp10 since summer. Quote
dwayne299 Posted November 11, 2013 Report Posted November 11, 2013 Nice landing! But I think the wing flex on touchdown was exaggerated. Quote
Toby Rice Posted November 11, 2013 Report Posted November 11, 2013 I liked the landing but the flex was either too much, or it was a hard landing! lol Quote
Steve Posted November 12, 2013 Author Report Posted November 12, 2013 yeah, but I think that it's a bit exagerate winglex of this 757 model, (same occurs with 777), because I was at minimun speed and I think was quite soft landing, but I'll try to do better in future. Thanks for feedback 1 Quote

Orcair Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 I think the landing was a bit hard (don't worry you should see some of mine ....) but in flight unless there was a lot of turbulence I have never seen a wing flex that much - especially on older a/c whose wings were "stiffer". Quote
Steve Posted November 13, 2013 Author Report Posted November 13, 2013 yeah, you're right!! Yesterday I was making many landings with the 757 and I got them with much less wing flex and more soft but I have to keep training :-) Thanks for feedback!! Quote
Schiphol010 Posted November 17, 2013 Report Posted November 17, 2013 Strange... mine does it the other way around: main gear stays flat in replay, doesn't tilt upward at all, not even when airborne... it seems X-Plane's replay engine is holding a grudge against 757's, the freeware version wouldn't deploy spoilers in replay mode Still, it's kind of a shame because it's the best looking landing gear I've seen so far; hopefully it can be fixed? Apart from that it's a great aircraft indeed Thanks to all for feedback!! yeah, I don't know what happens with landing gear after pushback but in general its a great aircraft as Toby said for the moment (I think so) only for XP10 x64... Steve Posted November 18, 2013 Author Report Posted November 18, 2013 yeah I've achieved more soft landings , but the wing flex it's very sensitive it's certainly a great plane, one of the best right now ... Quote
SwissCyul Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) And it has a lot of really nice features. For example if you press the "call flight attendant" button 15 times, it will say after a few times: "Sir there is still nothing to report""If you call me one more time, i will kill myself" and after that: "the flight attendant has killed himself" Edited November 19, 2013 by SwissCyul Quote

Is there a new flight attendant after this? Quote
Steve Posted November 19, 2013 Author Report Posted November 19, 2013 yeah, really nice new features!! it's a great aircraft. Here there are another video with fire on wheels after hard landing 1 Quote
SwissCyul Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 Haha. Is there a new flight attendant after this?Yeah, when you reload the aircraft But the rest of the flight your passengers have to fly without service and a dead flight attendant lying around Quote
dwayne299 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 (edited) Do the brakes stop working after you land? (After catching fire) Edited November 19, 2013 by dwayne299 Quote
andydckent Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 Been using the 757 for a few days now and it does seem like an excellent aircraft. Seems to fly a lot nicer than the 777, certainly seems more fun. I don't know if that's because the development team have improved or I'm just a terrible 777 pilot. Andy Quote
