Captain_Jack Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Thanks! From memory it's Simheaven's photo scenery of Dubai but don't think they support it anymore. It's certainly nowhere near as good as FlyTampa but I can't be bothered converting stuff. With a few landmark's that you can get on x-plane.org it makes for a passable Dubai. 1
azpilot Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Looks like Fly Tampa Dubai converted to me.
Captain_Jack Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Well I guess that's a compliment for the SimHeaven stuff, but FlyTampa has a tonne of buildings, so it's hard to beat that. Some different views, I use the free Dubai airport on .org and basically whatever free stuff anyone makes, I'd buy something commercial if someone released something for XP. 10
SwissCyul Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 LSZH-LFMN/Zurich-Nice Jardesign A320neo I can recommend this route to anyone who likes sightseeing!!! I took off from Zurich and bursted through the low clouds. Then continued climbing and turning south over the alps. The flight takes about 50 minutes and the scenery you get to see is absolutely stunning!!! 7
Oliver Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Winds were gusting at about 25-30kts today at a few airports in the area... decided to get some practice done. View My Video 7
jettojig Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Wow, that 182 looks super luxurious compared to the beat-up 152s I fly... Must cost a fortune though! 1
Oliver Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Wow, that 182 looks super luxurious compared to the beat-up 152s I fly... Must cost a fortune though! It's actually a 172! I used to fly an extremely beat up 152 but I've started training with friend CFIs who don't charge for the training so I've increased my airplane budget 1
jettojig Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Ah! Took a guess from your flair, never seen a 172 with the side vents... I'm jealous of how much you've flown... I'm at 60 hours and not escaped the 152 yet... aren't really any better options where I fly, whatever you hire will be guaranteed to have 20 years under its belt and only enough work done to keep it airworthy! Still great fun to fly though 1
SwissCyul Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 I wish the 152's in Montreal would look like this... 1

jettojig Posted February 2, 2015 Report Posted February 2, 2015 Sounds like fun, Shame I'm in England! 1
