AF380 Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 grettings fellow pilots, im sort of new at flying the new 767 by michael chang, and i cant figure out how to make it takeoff smoothly. maybe someone can help me solve this issue. heres what i do: as soon as im done taking off and gear is up, i engage the autopilot, after 5,000ft the plane just starts bouncing erratically. when i turn the autopilot off the bouncing stops, when i turn it on it starts. this has happened whenever i takeoff with the plane and i dont know why its doing this. Is there any kind person who would please help me solve this issue? i really love the plane and cant fly it successfully if i cant get it to stop bouncing. Quote
Ben Posted February 28, 2013 Report Posted February 28, 2013 (edited) You can correct this issue by turning off both Yaw Dampers which are located at the top left of the overhead panel. I hope this helps. Edited February 28, 2013 by Ben Quote

howardthepilot1999 Posted March 1, 2013 Report Posted March 1, 2013 It only happens above 280 KIAS for me. Either you are breaking ICAO aviation law below 10, 000' or a bug. 1 Quote

AF380 Posted March 2, 2013 Author Report Posted March 2, 2013 well i guess that makes sense, so glad i can now fly the plan more appropriately instead of it jerking Quote
Ryan M. Posted March 2, 2013 Report Posted March 2, 2013 Yeah, the yaw dampers were the problem. Glad you resolved the issue! Quote
