glasscockpits Posted October 6, 2012 Author Report Posted October 6, 2012 Hi Jim,Thanks for the kind comments. I've actually lost all my work on Council Bluffs! I don't know what happened. I still have other projects going that were not affected though. Quote
dainja556 Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 You're kidding! That sucks! It was looking awesome.I was happy to see a midwestern airport getting worked on. Nebraskan here Quote
glasscockpits Posted October 6, 2012 Author Report Posted October 6, 2012 Hi dainja,No, unfortunately I'm not kidding. I even had to repair XPX as the global apt.data file was empty. Quote
ryancz Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Are you on windows? I had a similar problem about a year ago. Quote
Jim Kallinen Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 That is a bummer, have you tried to do a file search or system restore to an earlier point. Often when files go missing for me, I accidentally drop them into the wrong folder whendragging and dropping. File searches will often pull them up or go the folders you remember using and open them up one at a time to see if anything looks familier. Quote

I hope this problem doesn't affect my other projects. That is a bummer, have you tried to do a file search or system restore to an earlier point. I can't do a system restore...argh. I know it's important to set them up and now have proof of their usefulness. Quote
ryancz Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 Check your "Compatibility Files"Its a link on the bar where it also says new folder, etc. It's a folder where files get moved. I've never understood it. Here- http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_vista-files/windows-explorer-compatibility-files/5b377209-cfe4-4be6-959d-e1de4b8be16d Quote
