chris k Posted July 13, 2012 Author Report Posted July 13, 2012 We are in the end-game now.! =)Weekend is nigh. I'll do the accounting and cleanup of the repository and see where we are. Have some good feedback from others on FPS and VRAM; and I'll try to cull and optimize as much as I can this weekend as well.- CK. Quote
chris k Posted July 16, 2012 Author Report Posted July 16, 2012 Good stuff!!I cleaned up the repository with the ones that are completed again. Only 4 more after 11-3. =)- CK. Quote
chris k Posted July 18, 2012 Author Report Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Now this is what i call cutting it close! (texture res: "very high" / no HDR).. although it's probably swapping out textures/VRAM already. (And it was @ 40FPS, but I had to Cmd-Tab to show the VRAM monitor)Guess what I found tho.. XP10 uses over 320-350Mb of VRAM all by itself just at startup, without even loading a plane or any scenery yet!Meaning: I don't have 300-400 Mb of VRAM to play with for photo sceneries - In reality, I have about 150Mb of VRAM.See the "rant' section.- CK.
