Hi,

I just could finish just one flight with the CRJ200 and xsquawkbox. Although Cameron asks me to wait for the version 1.4.2 it seems that this problem is not solved.

And again I asks friendly and kindly to help to get rid of this problem. After loading the plane, activating batteries, activating GPU on CDU, switching the AC button to IN USE - the PFD and EFIS are staying black - the CDU screen is visible and can be used.

I am on windows 7 64bit, MSI eclipse motherboard, 8 GBRAM, Nvidia 580GTX with the latest driver - what other infos do you need for finding the bug.

Your problem has been investigated repeatedly.

About the XSquawkbox issue (TOBS):

I tested the CRJ with XSquawkbox on each and every of my X-Plane installations which are

-On Windows 7 32bit

-On windows 7 64bit

-On Suse Linux

-On Ubuntu Linux

-On Mac OSX 10.7.2

-On Mac OSX 10.6.8

each with X-Plane9 and 10.

Every single combination worked for me, leading to the assumption we are looking at a driver/openGL problem, especially because of the fact I have nvidia cards in every of my machines, while you are using ATI.

I also asked Wade (author of XSquawkbox) for a debug build a week ago, which he promised to send me when he finds the time (rememeber Wade does XSquawkbox as freeware in his spare time).

That's unfortunately all I can do right now.

Hi, Tom,

Unfortunately, as has been explained to you, until Wade is willing to provide the debug version XSB to us there is not much more we can do. He has stated he will once he gets the time to do so. Until then, we're at his mercy.

While you may consider yourself to be asking "friendly and kindly" you are just being a pain.

Your issues is very well known to Philip and the CRJ team. They have looked at it and continue to look at it at every possible opportunity

Learn to be patient. There is no other option for you here. Philip will fix it as soon as he is able to.

Stopp your insulting speech - I do not ask you anything. And if you think I am a pain just ignore it. Mr Russel please do not try to teach me anything concerning behavior etc. it is just not your business.

About patience with software developers. First of all - everything is paid! There was no hint before that it might not work, my machine fulfilled all the requirements and past the CRJ200 test - clear you cannot know everything but...second I am waiting for a solution since weeks now. I am very patient with the MU2 which does not work for a year now (this disfunction definitely relies on the activation concept), and now the CRJ200 does not work as I expected on my machine which has a very new win7 setup. I was told to wait for the version 1.4.2. and nothing changed - so I ask again - what´s wrong with that. I just asks for help as I may as a customer and if I do not see answers in an old threat I post a new one to bring it back to the surface - this is nothing new.
