Your description sounds as though a plugin may not be running. Can you post your X-Plane log.txt after running the DC-3?

You haven't activated the product. 

There is a possible conflict with;

G:\X-Plane 12/Resources/plugins/FM

Remove it and retry if you have problems using the xa activation gui.

I deleted FM and the error is now fixed!

Your log shows a missing plugin, which tells me you probably have an antivirus program that was too protective and deleted it on install. You'll need to look at what your antivirus is/was doing, and re-install the product.
