I suspect your version of macOS is too old. I think you'll need at least macOS 12 to use the X-Plane 12 version. But maybe @Coopcan confirm one way or the other.

Originally released ~3 years ago, so depends on your definition I suppose. But with the pace of progress these days, my by reckoning it's getting a little outdated and hence missing platform features, such as those I suspect the TorqueSim products rely upon (even if it's still supported for security patches--for another month?), especially as there's a new OS every year you could have upgraded to. :-)
