Just purchased the RealsimGear G5 to use on the BN-2T Turbine Islander. All works pretty fine, but could not manage to configure the popup windows, resizing and placing on screen. Edited the G5.cfg file according to RealsimGear G5 Integration Guide instructions (file attached) but upon loading the BN-2T simulation the popups revert to default. Also, upon resizing / relocating the popups during the simulation, after closing and reopening the popups, they will be randomly placed in the screen instead of where I did place them. Screen size is 1920 x 1080, running X-Plane 12. Not a big issue, though a bother for me on an otherwise excellent software.

Hi @MarioTG,

I just wanted to mention that the functionality for saving the size and position of this plugin is specifically designed with the G5 screens/hardware from RealSimGear in mind. Could you kindly confirm if that's the setup you're using? If it's different, that might be the reason you're experiencing some challenges. But if you're indeed using RealSimGear hardware and still having issues, please let us know. We're here to help!

If you are trying to use the version of the Islander with the G5s integrated into the virtual panel, there is a separate aircraft file to load, that is labeled (G5) in the X-Plane aircraft selection interface. If you don't see that option, try re-running the Islander installer.

Thank you both Coop and Cameron. Indeed am running the (G5) version. The G5 runs fine, issue just happens when popping up / out, the windows don't keep the position / size after each popin / popout. And don't  have the G5 hardware. I run my flight simulators on a small 15in screen (notebook) so I use popouts for better reading of flight instruments. Again, the G5 works perfectly fine, including the popouts, issue being only the way it is requiring me to resize / relocate each time I load the plane and after closing and reopening the popouts.

Just to clarify, the position-saving feature is exlusively designed to work with the RealSimGear hardware. So, if you're not using that particular hardware, that's the reason you're experiencing this issue. We understand how this can be a bit confusing, and we appreciate your understanding.
