Hi All! I'm trying to map an on/off toggle switch to the X-Plane 12 V2 TOGA MU2 batteries. It's basically turning the key on. The normal selections to map a switch in X-Plane12 only turn the battery/key on for about two seconds, and then it turns off on its own. The only selections in X-Plane 12 are:

Battery 1 off, Battery 1 on, Battery 1 toggle, Battery 2 off, Battery 2 on, Battery 2 toggle

Any of the on or toggle will turn the battery on, but it goes off after a few seconds. I've used Battery 1 toggle to a switch on many other aircraft with no issues. The MU2 battery system seems more complicated.

Any assistance will be most appreciated.

The battery key position is a custom dataref.  I'll have to add a command to make that available for you.  I've put it in my issues list.  Thx

Hi tkyler, Any idea when the custom datarefs will be added to the MU2 so real switches can be mapped to everything? It's been a while and it's really getting old having to change from external view to 3D panel just to turn on the battery key switch. There are other switches that need to have the custom datarefs added as well. Run Crank Stop, SRL Switches, etc. Hopefully your update will include every custom dataref for every switch in the cockpit!

Really appreciate your work!

Thanks! Rattler

shouldn't be too long, within a couple of weeks.  Mom's health, holiday time and a much-needed vacation have been a distraction for a good bit...just one more event to get past this weekend and then I'll be back on things regularly.

Hi tkyler,

Thanks for the reply! Much appreciated!

Sorry to hear about your mom being ill. Hope she gets well fast!

Sounds good on the coming update!

Enjoy the holidays and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
