YYZatcboy Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 I did not know I had to edit the panels too! Beside, I'm too busy working on sounds...
MaidenFan Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Man, this thing is really coming alive. Great work!!!
atgcab Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 Those images are simply unbeleivable Congratulations!
MaidenFan Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 This is some of the best work I've seen on X-Plane!!!!! Works for Mac, right?
MaidenFan Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Sadly No Rush.Just kidding. When I read that first part, I almost died! What a releif the second part was.
YYZatcboy Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 LOL. It works just great on a Mac. Better FPS than the ERJ or SSJ so if you fly them it should give better performance. (stats taken off of a Macbook Pro 4gb Ram 512 video card)

(stats taken off of a Macbook Pro 4gb Ram 512 video card)My computer handles the SSJ pretty well, so I'm totally confident that the Dash will work just fine as well!!!
Maxime Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 could the ssj run on a 8gb ram and a 256mb video card?
MaidenFan Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 could the ssj run on a 8gb ram and a 256mb video card?I have 4GB of RAM and 2 256MB videocards and it runs pretty well for the most part.
Jack Skieczius Posted April 3, 2011 Author Report Posted April 3, 2011 interestingly, i have yet to test the dash on a 256 meg card. i am a little worried about it but if you can run the SSJ then lets hope you can run the dash. Also comes down mostly on how fast your CPU is.i have a 1280 meg card, and i can use it all with the dash on extreme settings.
YYZatcboy Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 I love that my macbook has two video cards. a 256 and a 512. I can toggle the two.
Jack Skieczius Posted April 3, 2011 Author Report Posted April 3, 2011 and to go even further with my last post. you can have the textures on the low quality and only use up like 700 megs, but then if you lower your settings to veryhigh, it gets even lower usage.X-plane is wonderfull in that is is very customizable when it comes to graphic settings.

Peter's A380 is the hardest on my system by far (about 20 FPS with it). If your Dash is better about FPS than the A380, I will definitely be able to fly it.
Jack Skieczius Posted April 3, 2011 Author Report Posted April 3, 2011 I cant really compaire it to the A380, but she dose get better frames then the SSJ and ERJ. I dont have the A380, but most of peter's planes never ran great on my system. If you are having no problem running the ERJ or SSJ then the dash will be a breeze for sure.

The SSJ and ERJ run pretty well, so the Dash will surely be manageable for me.
WombatBoy Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Great to hear that it runs better than the SSJ and ERJ on your computer there Joe as it's the same exact one I have (I think). This is some fantastic work here - really looking forward to this model
YYZatcboy Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Yeah I got my MBP a couple of years ago. Perhaps one day I can grab a Mac Pro and really push some limits
Jack Skieczius Posted April 3, 2011 Author Report Posted April 3, 2011 I just outlined the shape of a Kangaroo!I feel a little insane.
Jack Skieczius Posted April 3, 2011 Author Report Posted April 3, 2011 [me=Jack Skieczius]saddles up on his new Kangaroo and hops away screaming, ha ha ha, i got the dash, come and get me. [/me]
