Guys what am I missing - I can't seem to turn off the active flight plan screen just to the right of the EFIS map (see attached screenshot). I've pressed the "FPL" button but that doesnt fix the issue. Also, as you can see, there are two compass roses with two aircraft icons on the display. I don't recall this problem with the previous version of the corvalis, so maybe my files are corrupted.

Secondly, would it be possible, in a future update, to make the font on the buttons and screen a bit sharper/crisper? This plane would be all I would fly if the font were not as blurry.

I'm not sure what's going on. No one else has reported this problem. Does this happen every time you use the Corvalis?

As for the textures... It looks like the screenshot you attached was taken in 2D mode. If you have a monitor/window that is larger than the Corvalis 2D panel (2048 x 1920) then XP will "stretch-to-fit" and you can lose some clarity of the texture(s). I have attached a screenshot (similar to yours) that shows the texture/fonts when they are not stretched... you can see they look much better. I may improve on the textures in a future version as well.

Yes, this always happens now - but it wasn't a problem back when I first got the new update. Perhaps one of my files got corrupted. I think I'll do a fresh install. That should fix the problem.

I think a new install is a good idea. As no one else has reported this problem it sounds like something is corrupt and/or missing from your installation.

Let us know how you make out.

3°) I cannot make a flight plan from scratch, because I cannot input alphanumeric apt, or vor, or ndb, or fix or…). I have read the “change to poh and tutorial for entering a waypoint in the FMS” tutorial but nothing works (ReadyPad seems locked, no information displayed)

4°) The keys “Terrain” and “topo” don’t work anymore.

I come from the French forum x-plane.fr who sends me to you.

Can you help me please ?

You should not need to update Gizmo.. it is installed when you update to the most recent version of the aircraft.

1.) Was version 1.3 running OK for you before?

2.) If you can recreate this problem could you please provide the"exact" steps you took.

3.) Are you running Windows or Mac ? Which version of the OS ?

4.) What version of X-Plane are you running?

Hi Jim,

1.) the 1.3 version (when I have downloaded it) NEVER runs ok (no ready pad key available).

after updating Gizmo I had the readypad

2.) here are the exact keys I pushed:

A) Making a plan from the beginning:

FLP (left)->INIT(RP=ReadyPad)->DirectTo(RP) : Nothing is displayed in "ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN", no waypoint appears

then ->small FMS knob to the right -> pop up window "waypoint information, IDENT,FACILITY,CITY" but nothing displayed into it.

The keyboard of the RP seems to be active (yellow squares) but no keys react at all.

Loading a flight plan

LOAD(RP)->output->fms plan->Brussels airport to Lille lesquin.fms -> ouvrir (open)

and then I have only this

3.) Windows7 32 bits

4.)X-PLANE 9.7

I try to download the Corvalis again but your website don't want. I buy Corvalis the 09/04/11,

the links expires 09/06/11 (it's very soon) and it remains me 178

downloads but I can't download anymore ??

I've reset your download.

That said, I'm not sure how it's possible for you to "update" Gizmo. We ship with the latest version of Gizmo, and shipping with anything LOWER will cause your C400 to misbehave.

It works !

I download and reinstall the corvalis.

the problem was that I pushed the FLP button on the left display because the one on the right was not surrounded by a yellow square and for me it

meant an inactive key !
