Just a possible solution, in VR if you bring up the plugins using the controller, you can select gizmo, and select the MU2 preferences and the popup window shows in VR to select GPU on/off.  This is what i have done.  It helps if you drain the batteries there is an option to immediately charge the batteries.

Yes, I know about it, but it is not a comfortable solution. Also, the knobs in VR (eg lighting) are "hyperirritable", but hopefully that will also be improved in the upcoming patch.    ;-)

I haven't made any VR improvements for the next patch...due to the majority of users with both toe brakes and desiring the TBM-style throttle.  I will be addressing VR after return from Oshkosh though.  Sorry about the 'vacation' delay, but we will get you accomodated for sure.  Work doesn't stop ...well..except for Oshkosh week....doesn't stop with the initial release.  I'll keep on moving.
