HussamAli Posted February 8, 2022 Report Share Posted February 8, 2022 Hello, I started X-Plane 11 today, not knowing version 1.3.1 was made available. Well the aircraft (prior version 1.2.1) loaded, with the FOB on-top of the aircraft!! Strangest thing (video attached) since I used version 1.2.1 before with no issues. So I thought maybe because a new version was announced (1.3.1), i re-installed the aircraft, selected a new flight config on the ground in a random airport, with Persistent state selected to avoid any issues with prior states of the previous version 1.2.1, but still the sim crashes on startup. Tried various scenarios, all failed. Very disappointing, spent an hour trying to figure out the problem. I attach here the LOG file, please help? I'm going to assume you have multiple monitors. The licensing system is attempting to have you activate, but you are not doing so. The most likely scenario is X-Plane has hidden that activation window behind one of your other monitors. Easiest method would be to disconnect your other monitors except for one and have X-Plane re-present the window to you on the main screen. Yet when starting with the REGA livery it crashes. When selecting the default livery, the sim starts normally. Could a custom livery on the previous version cause this issue on start up ? That is a direct result of the license not being activated after the update.
