Rhinozherous Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 Hello! I tried to find the answer in the system descriptions from Smartcockpit, but but either I didn't get it or I didn't find it... As the title says, why is N2 showing yellow when I activate wing and cowl anti ice at the same time? Thank you!
Pils Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 It’s telling you the required engine thrust to maintain sufficient bleed air to run anti-ice systems.
CaptCrash Posted February 2, 2022 Report Posted February 2, 2022 N2 below the yellow line may not be sufficient to maintain wing temperatures suitable for anti-icing. The correct procedure for this situation is to maintain N2 in the green and use speed brakes to maintain speed. 1
