louism Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 When all is off including the battery, the refuel panel turns on which is normal. However, only valve switch number 2 will open fuel valves for the tail tank. The other switches don't open any valves. Is it normal? If so, why? If not, I will file a bug report. Thanks. Quote
Graeme_77 Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) This is expected behaviour. The other shut off valves require fuel pressure to open them, with no fuel pressure they will remain in the closed position. The tail tanks are servo controlled, so will open with no fuel pressure. They will also time-out after 30 seconds and close if fuelling has not commenced, at which point a reset of tail and aux SOVs is required. Try opening the refuel truck 2D panel, then pressing Start. You can also read all about the refuel system on the Study, Engines, Fuel System screen, and select Refuel system at the top left. Edited January 11, 2022 by Graeme_77 1 Quote
louism Posted January 11, 2022 Author Report Posted January 11, 2022 Ah fuel pressure is required. Now I remember Toto mentioning that. Thank you Graeme! 1 Quote
Graeme_77 Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 No problem at all. It's normal to have these sort of questions when the simulation is so detailed. The study screens really help you learn the aircraft - fuel system and bleed system especially - there's a lot of documentation in there. Quote
softreset Posted January 11, 2022 Report Posted January 11, 2022 To add onto this question, semi-related. Is there a data command to bind the 2D fuel truck window and 2D fuel panel window? Quote
