dbw11 Posted January 6, 2022 Report Posted January 6, 2022 Greetings. I sometimes crash on landing and then have to either go through the repairing process or start a new airframe. Is there a way to turn damage off? Many thanks. Dave Quote
Goran_M Posted January 7, 2022 Report Posted January 7, 2022 I'm afraid not. It has been designed as a real world, wear and tear add on. But look on the bright side. Eventually, you'll get much better at your landings. 1 Quote
dbw11 Posted January 8, 2022 Author Report Posted January 8, 2022 It is a great aircraft. I find it a little on the sensitive side for landing especially in pitch.......and then bang. Quote

dbw11 Posted January 10, 2022 Author Report Posted January 10, 2022 Thanks for your patience....Is there any way to make it less sensitive to crashes. I just did a landing i know* would be fine in the real world but once again it burst into flame. *Retired 40 year pilot. Quote
Goran_M Posted January 10, 2022 Report Posted January 10, 2022 It's difficult to know what caused the crash, or how hard your landing was, without seeing a replay. I've seen streamers land it quite hard, and there was little to no damage. We have no control over the damage/crash limits of the add on. This is all handled by X-Plane itself. If you can provide accurate data, feel free to contact Laminar and they can perhaps look into it and include it in X-Plane 12. Quote
dbw11 Posted January 10, 2022 Author Report Posted January 10, 2022 Thanks for your reply. I realize you are under pressure from the Avsim CL650 forum. I can assure you I am not driving the tbm into the ground when landing. Maybe I can see if I have a previous version of it stored, blow this one off, and try it. I've hardly flown the tbm since the last update for this reason. Quote
