Litjan Posted November 18, 2021 Report Posted November 18, 2021 Hi, try the IXEG preferences menu to adjust sound - bump mouse against left side of screen to access it. Quote
BBJdriver Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 Hi all, I have the same problem. No sound in the cockpit, no sound outside, very quiet aircraft... More seriously, is there any fix for this problem ? Preferences menu does not change anything. Thanks and happy flying Quote
Litjan Posted December 14, 2021 Report Posted December 14, 2021 Hi, if you have no sounds at all...something is very wrong. We have had reports from users with weak soundcards that could only play a certain number of channels and some callouts and such were dropped...but no sound? No idea. I don´t want to go through the obvious (do other airplanes make sound, did you enable your speakers, did you actually start the aircraft so that it can make sounds,...), I will venture out on a limb and say that if you have no sounds at all, you have set something up wrong with your computer/X-Plane installation. Cheers, Jan Quote
Bulva Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 The IXEG sound menu is one thing. The second - the main sound menu in XP. Sometimes it happens to me that some volume sliders (especially engine volume) are pushed to the left (without my intervention). I have never discovered the cause of this phenomenon Quote
BBJdriver Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 Hi I tried everything including the XP main sound menu, reinstallation of the 737 etc. All other aircraft work as advertised except the 737. This problem started after downloading the latest version of the aircraft. Thanks anyway Quote
Litjan Posted December 15, 2021 Report Posted December 15, 2021 Hmm - can we get you to attach your log.txt file here so we can take a look and possibly guess what happens? It could also be some plugin incompatibility - but the log would let us give you a bit of advice which one could be problematic. Thanks, jan Quote
exergon Posted January 6, 2022 Report Posted January 6, 2022 Hi all, same here, I did a complete reinstall, no sounds at all. Every other aircraft works quite well. It is only with the IXEG 737. Any idea on this? Logfile attached, maybe it helps... Regards Markus Log.txt Quote
Litjan Posted January 6, 2022 Report Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) Hi exergon, your list of plugins loaded is filling two pages - I had no idea there were even so many plugins in existence! If your X-Plane installation was a house, people in white suits with breathing gear would show up with three big containers to clear it out One of those plugins is not compatible or hogging OpenAl resources, or something. Run the IXEG on a clean installation of X-Plane without any other plugins at all - check if sound plays. If it doesn´t...I would be very surprised. If it does, start adding in your add-ons one by one to find the conflicting one. Cheers, Jan Edited January 6, 2022 by Litjan Quote
