TurbineTech1773
Been flying the M20R Ovation II for a while and can't seem to get my CHT's and oil temp down to a reasonable level. I'm using standard power settings and leaning appropriately. CHT's usually settle between 450 to 500+ degree and oil temp is off the chart. When wear failures are turned on I usually encounter an engine fire and failure after a couple hours of flight. Is anyone else experiencing this? TurbineTech1773
Just wanted to bump this and see if this is a known issue others are having and if so will it be addressed in the update?
Coop
Are you using the experimental flight model?
TurbineTech1773
I was. I switched it off and that fixed it, thank you!
DContreras
I have been flying the Ovation 3. I am not using the experimental flight model, but my oil temps and CHTs are super high and not controllable. Whether I lean per the AFM or run full rich, the oil temps are pegged in the red and the CHTs are in the 500s. I have looked at every page and followed the checklist and I am still having issues. What can be done?
