Clouds are illuminated

I'm cruising at FL270 in the middle of no where and it's 7:00pm local and absolutely dark, yet I can see the clouds as if they're lit.  Is that normal?

Clouds can be lit by the moonlight. SkyMaxx Pro takes account of this and simulates it if enough moon is visible.
