Hotstart TBM 900 - raising the power lever lockout gate release to allow access to taxi & beta power ranges

Hi all,

got the same problem (steam xp 11.50, latest tbm directly from installer, TWCS an Thrustmaster 16000), no Joystick Profiles for tbm assigned or set (i deleted the previous profile as i ran into this Problem).

i can switch lo tow and hi idle per mouse (but even there i see in the animation of the power lever that it raises on the left side to full power).

As i goper mouse into the left side of the "H" lever, the power automatically raises to full power. Lowering it with the mouse is possible but it goes up to full power by itself immediately again (and the animation of the power lever shows that raising again).

Seems there is a little issue, either by myself, the TCWS & T16000 bundle or in the Aircraft Code. Not pointing out here, just hoping for a Fix if its plane related.

Thx

Whenever the power lever goes to full power on its own, it's because of some kind of assignment.  Do you have something that sets takeoff power getting activated on other add ons?  Any other scripts that might be doing something to set full power?

There's a lot going on here.  You have a lot of buttons assigned to various functions, and also a lot of damage on the TBM is being recorded.

I can understand you having problems, but to really nail this problem, you need to disconnect everything except your mouse and keyboard, reload the sim nd the TBM, and then use the mouse to maneuver the power lever.  If you can confirm that it functions correctly, without any hardware connected, then the problem lies in the hardware calibration.  The only way to know for certain, is, as I mentioned, to disconnect all hardware except mouse and keyboard.

This part of the log also is cause for concern, because with damaged components, especially this many damaged components, many systems will not function correctly...
