hobofat Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 Greetings,Just curious if there is a collection (or growing collection) of MU-2 repaints already done--and perhaps what would be the best place to check for items of this type. I see a huge number of interesting liveries at airliners.net, I'm sure I'll be painting a few of them but would like to know what has or hasn't been done yet. Thanks in advance. Quote
OlaHaldor Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 I made a fictional livery, and I've seen some other fictional liveries as well. Haven't encountered real liveries yet. Quote
Nova Posted June 29, 2009 Report Posted June 29, 2009 I made a livery for Lufthansa Regional ( http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7666 ), although they don't have those in their fleet.Would be cool if you could (X-Avition) release a "blank" version of the aircraft, only with the windowse and rivets, so repainting is easier.I had to search a long time for an livery that was almost white, so i could do the painting. I personally use The Gimp (freeware open-source paint program) for my repainting, as it provides all the functions necessary to work with layered paints. Quote

JBalsa Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 Nova,Just curious here. Did you use my N109XX livery for your Lufthansa paint? N109XX is almost completely white. But I made N109XX with the included paint-kit.And for anyone else, I have made two liveries for this plane.N109XX Fictional - http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7640Air Canada Fictional - http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=7941 Quote
