Trick to Real Weather

Right now there is a real hurricane in LA that is showing up in full color on SkyVector. I set my airport to KCDH (see attached) and weather to match real weather in X-Plane (11.41). Why doesn't my brand-spanking new RWC show any weather in X-P? What am I missing? Thanks.

It appears real world weather from X-Plane is showing clear conditions are you sure you have download real world weather enabled?

What are your Real Weather Connector settings?

Also, keep in mind that weather METARs are updated every hour, with weather shown being one hour old. It is likely weather stations in that region are offline.
