Hey,

I know that you are aware of the throttle issue with new xuipc versions (throttle not responding) . Problem is that more and more Virtual Airline Acars Systems require the latest XPuipc version to be installed to have the acars logger working correctly.

Older versiosn eg .2.0.4.7 will cause some acars systems to crash.

is there any any update to make the throttle work with newer xpuipc versions ?`

thanks

I will put it on the list of things to look at - I personally have no idea why it doesn´t work, but Tom may, he is into cockpit building and such...

thanks for your quick reply -

as i am writing this i am  testing xpuipc 2.0.4.8 with several acars systems and the ixeg - that version  might solve the problem , seems stable now.
seems like the ixeg throttle and virtual airline acars systems will work with 2.0.4.8 but might habe problems with versions below and above....will keep testing. very strange indeed.

appreciate your support

Do me a favour:

When running with the latest XPUIPC version, open the Dataref Editor (plugins), search for XPUIPC and manually set the dataref ixeg/733/hardware_overrides to 1.

Then try if you can move the thrust levers?

Well I'm running XPUIPC 2.0.5.9 and I installed the dataref editor and found the value you listed above and it's already set to 1.  So now what do I do.  I can't move the throttle.

Nevermind.  I removed XPUIPC 2.0.5.9 and installed version 2.0.4.8.  Now the throttle works.  By the way the dataref setting you referred to ixeg/733/hardware_overrides  in no longer called that.  At lease not in 2.0.5.9.
