ktomais Posted June 4, 2020 Report Posted June 4, 2020 (edited) Hey IXEG team, I noticed this weird behavior with my 733 when toggling the side menu or preset views menu (see photo below). I am also running X-Vision and Reshade on top of X-Plane so I can't exclude those being a culprit. Is the menu dropping a shadow on the plane or has some weird interaction, either in general or with XVis or Reshade? If you could kindly confirm or refute on your side in regard to default X-Plane. Thank you. Edited June 4, 2020 by ktomais Quote
Litjan Posted June 4, 2020 Report Posted June 4, 2020 I have never seen that. Strong suspicion that its one of the shader hacks you mention. Cheers, Jan Quote

Cheers, Jan I'll be checking them out for sure. Just wanted to see if anyone has seen it as well in a "clean" XPlane. Thanks! Quote
Litjan Posted June 4, 2020 Report Posted June 4, 2020 It reminds me of the "no cockpit" bug we saw with the "show vortices" option enabled... which was a semi-legal OpenGl hack ;-) Cheers, Jan Quote
ktomais Posted June 4, 2020 Author Report Posted June 4, 2020 (edited) It must have indeed been X-Vision! Not sure I would call it a hack though, it's a purchaseable add-on. But maybe I'm not totally aware of how it worked. Issue is now resolved - disabled/uninstalled Xvis. Seems I hot-posted. You may delete, lock or resolve as you see fit! Thanks for checking. Litjan Posted June 4, 2020 Report Posted June 4, 2020 No way on the delete - I am in favour of leaving posts like this up as they can provide valuable guidance to people with the same issue. Thanks for confirming the fix - this makes these threads even more valuable. Cheers, Jan Quote
