Crash Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 I'm wondering if there is a Weight and Balance Load Manager included with the Saab 340 A, and if there isn't what would be a reasonable PAX weight? Or does PAX weight figure into the FMS at all, and the 230 pounds set over at simBrief, is fine. Thanks, Crash Quote
Cameron Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 We do not have an FMS in our aircraft. Are you confusing ours with Carenado? This one is ours: https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php/take-command-saab-340a-p-100 In the USA, pax weights are seasonal. In the summer, each passenger is considered 190 lbs. In the winter time, 195 lbs. Quote
Crash Posted May 18, 2020 Author Report Posted May 18, 2020 I stand corrected, I meant to say the Garmin 530...So, as far as the Garmin is concerned, is pax weight a factor, as I don't believe it takes into account pax weight... Quote
Cameron Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 No, it does not. You must calculate weights on your own. Quote
mmerelles Posted May 18, 2020 Report Posted May 18, 2020 you may consider this third party app for weight and balance, very nice! http://forums.x-pilot.com/forums/topic/6873-igodispatch-for-saab-340a/ 1 Quote
Crash Posted May 18, 2020 Author Report Posted May 18, 2020 (edited) Thanks for sharing mmerelles. Is it just a one time fee at the time of purchase? and By chance are you using a simBrief custom a/c profile? And if you are, does it (the output from simBrief,) match iGo's weights and other numbers? Thx Edited May 18, 2020 by Crash Quote

It can do fuel and weight planning as well as load the aircraft directly from the app. 1 Quote
