I updated the TBM to ver 1.1.12 and
have lost all brake control. As soon as the aircraft
starts up, it begins to roll and has no brakes. I use just a joystick (x56). Any thoughts on how I can
fix this would bee appreciated. Maybe is it possible to go back on the tbm
version to 1.1.11?
I tried it as I still had the 1.1.11 installer but it would not install,
saying files were missing.

One thing you should check, is the selected controller profile in X Plane controller preferences. This tends to reset to default "User Profile" on re-install. If it has and you haven't created a profile for it, re-confirm your brakes are assigned as you previously had them then save the config. Good luck.

The old installer won't work.

Regarding the brakes, nothing was done to them in this update, so this is something isolated to your PC.  Before checking anything further, make sure you are applying brakes, and THEN apply park brake.  Otherwise, they won't work.  Failing that, please check all key strokes/button presses.  Check the maintenance manager to see if the brakes have failed.

If. none of that fixes the problem, you may need to create a new airframe.
