MarkDO Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Good day everyone , I mostly fly Airliners like 737/757/767/a320 but i also got the tbm900 for short to mid range flights . But i have a problem with the G1000 . Explanation: I load up the Departure Insert my Routing to the last Waypoint before my Star Then i enter the Destination Airport and continue with Proc Select Arrival and Approach But everytime the Airport is before the Star/approach . I watched some Videos on Youtube to try solve my problem and did it exaclty like them but still the same result. Am I doing something wrong here ? Would be nice if someone know´s what to do here or if its normal and i have to Activate the approach manually right before the star . Greetings Mark Quote
Goran_M Posted April 1, 2020 Report Posted April 1, 2020 The G1000 in the TBM uses the underlying default G1000 for flight plans. So anything to do with that would need to be sent to Laminar, as it's very likely a bug they need to take care of. Quote
MarkDO Posted April 1, 2020 Author Report Posted April 1, 2020 I found kind of a solution . If I press activate Approach before the last WayPoint of my Star then it flies the Approach route . But im still wondering whyI have those issues and other guys not . Quote
oldflyguy Posted April 1, 2020 Report Posted April 1, 2020 @MarkDO, you aren't doing anything wrong. That's just the way this G1000 model works - don't know if that's a correct model or not. I usually use "vectors to approach" to better simulate the real world (you may want to try this) but just activate the approach when you reach the last waypoint of the STAR - no need to do it prior to that. MarkDO Posted April 2, 2020 Author Report Posted April 2, 2020 I will try that out too ( vectors to final ) . I was confused because i saw some videos where they didnt had this problem . But its working for me now Thank you guys Quote
