RXPAHC1 Posted March 12, 2019 Author Report Posted March 12, 2019 In the TBM900 starting engine check list they want the G1000 to be in composite mode, just wondering what does that mean thanks Quote
Litjan Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 You may want to ask that question in the TBM900 forums. Good luck, jan Quote

In the composite mode, the crew alerting function remains operative, but no map functions are available. I haven't tried this in the TBM900, but it should work. Quote
bonaventure Posted May 12, 2020 Report Posted May 12, 2020 I couldn't resist and had to see if it worked in the TBM900. It looks like all you need to do is lift the crash bar (but do not turn on the battery yet) and it will spark up the PFD and alternate attitude displays. These two things are connected directly to the battery bus so they come on when you lift the crash bar - they are also connected directly to the battery bus because they will be the last to survive if all other systems fail while in flight.
