sho69607 Posted January 6, 2019 Report Posted January 6, 2019 Not sure what the source of the Nexrad Radar is but my current location shows tons of precipitation around the state but the nextrad data shows no weather? is this normal?

sho69607 Posted January 6, 2019 Author Report Posted January 6, 2019 I also have active sky xp. The weather is loaded in the sim but not displaying on the map for some reason. Do you need to have the weather radar turned on for the nexrad data to display or is that a separate source?

In my case it doesn't necessarily any precipitation that Active Sky generates, but rather some spots. I'm assuming it is based on intensity - higher intensity will be displayed
