axmiha Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 I didn't find anything on the search so I'm starting a new topic. Sorry if I'm repeating an already existent topic. Question: does the 737-IXEG has random failures, or we need to "provoke" them in the FAILURES tab in the menu? I'm flying for a year or more and never had any failure by itself (which happens occasionally with FlyJSim's 727, for instance). Not that I want to, I'm just curious if failures do happen by themselves with IXEG. Thanks axmiha Quote
BjornMa Posted December 28, 2018 Report Posted December 28, 2018 I'm pretty sure the IXEG doesn't have a "wear & tear" feature, so you would need to enable random failures in the X-Plane failure menu if you want something similar. 1 Quote

Jorge Uvo Posted January 3, 2019 Report Posted January 3, 2019 There means that your maintenance team is great... LOL Now, seriously, I use the IXEG Failures plugin from Tom Stian (mentioned above by Loreen) and it works great. Be prepared. Keep the QRH in front of you. You will need it!!! 1 Quote

It would be a good idea to read the QRH first, right? Brrr.... Quote

You could change this setting in the lua file -- Set the level of failures you want. -- 1 = Minor failures, 2 = Minor and Major failures, 3 Minor, Major and Critical failures. FailureSeverity = 3 Set this to 1 and you will only get minor failures. Its a good way to get started. I recommend you to read the QRH so you know where you can find the different procedures. So just to get an overview how the QRH is build up. Good luck Edited January 8, 2019 by Tom Stian Quote
