I have been using Synthetic Vision regularly. Just now I tried a flight from Bankstown Sydney, ICAO Code: YSBK.  Synthetic Vision is not working. Blue Sky, Blue "Ground" (instead of Green). Any ideas?

Yeah, something to do with how the synthetic vision reads terrain.  It can only read default scenery.  I'll link this to @skiselkov and see if he has anything to say about implementing it...if it's even possible to do so.

I tried another airport (YRED) in Australia and it has the same issue. SYN VIS -> SYN TERR, it displays blue water instead of green. I did generate Ortho4xp, but I did this also in US and in US it works.  It is not working at those Australian airports.

@Greaser Please make sure you have stock X-Plane scenery, or hd-mesh-scenery installed underneath any ortho tiles generated via Ortho4XP. Ortho4XP doesn't include a DEM (Digital Elevation Map) segment in the generated DSFs, which is what the synthetic vision needs to construct its terrain view (and also the GPWS and WXR read this to determine the terrain shape).

I do have zzz_hd_global_scenery4 base mesh at the lowest layer, and have the relevant dsf tiles, so not sure why it aint working.
