ThorBrasil Posted April 7, 2018 Report Posted April 7, 2018 (edited) I have no pilot experience but would like to know which real FOV I can use in the IXEG 737? The FOV that a real pilot has in a cockpit. Can someone help me? Edited April 7, 2018 by ThorBrasil Quote

captain_alligator Posted May 18, 2018 Report Posted May 18, 2018 (edited) Imagine sitting in the real aircraft with a rectanglar cardboard frame the size of your monitor, at the distance your monitor is from your face right now. Now imagine how much would fit inside that rectangle. That's your realistic FOV, i.e. things appear at real size and real perspective. If you want the vision a real pilot has, you'll need a VR headset and even then I suspect even the best headset won't fully cover your peripheral vision.
