Tim013 Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 The other day, I was getting ready to do a VATSIM flight, and decided to program the STAR without including the approach, as I didn't know what would be in use on arrival. Well, long story short, many minutes of trying to delete route items, many INVALID DELETE's, a Gizmo soft crash, and several curse words, I decided to cut my losses, and just reload the plane, and start over. Is there a way to reset the FMC and start over without reloading the entire aircraft? Thanks, Tim Quote
mmerelles Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 Press RTE and re-enter origin airport this will clear anything you may have entered/selected for the route note: works for any boeing fmc 1 Quote

It is the same effect, actually cleaning everything, including the origin airport. 1 Quote
Litjan Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 If you have a gizmo softcrash, you must reboot the scripts or reload the aircraft. If you can consistently softcrash gizmo in 1.1 we would love to see how you do it so we can fix that problem! Cheers, Jan 1 Quote
Tim013 Posted June 19, 2017 Author Report Posted June 19, 2017 I know what route I was putting in, I think I can reproduce it. I'll try it again in few days. Tim Quote
